It wouldn't be any better if 'youngsters' were in control, but it's worth pointing out Baby Boomers and Gen X still have institutional power...

The auld adage, 'A week in politics' is never far off the mark.

The die-hards (folk like Alf Garnet and West 'am supporting types) will be able to justify the petite Covid faux pas.

They did us a favour really. How better to get past all the Covid bollox than see our supposed betters flouting the arbitrary rules.

Until some labour photos/videos make an appearance. I bet they exist and are sat in some reporters inbox waiting for the ideal moment to make them public. Probably when their high horse reaches its apogee.

Worse than that you really have to go back to his actions in WW2. Which of course just compounded his appalling behaviour during the French Revolution. The twunt has a lot to answer for so if people think theres even going to be an apology for the Phillip Schofield affair they're going to be very disappointed.

Prince William risks row to tackle homelessness

A row with whom? The article suggests he's straying into political territory and in the next breath says he's discussing this with Queer Stammer and Micky "Level Up" Gove Thinking

Quote:
As well as preventing homelessness, there is an aim to change attitudes...

Again, change who's attitudes and in what way? Ah, apparently it's the piss-poor attitudes of the anti-monarchists:

Quote:
"The last thing we need is for William to get involved in this issue, a man who has three huge homes and a vast estate gifted to him by the state," says Graham Smith, of the anti-monarchy group, Republic.

No good deed goes unpunished I suppose. Anyway, that's the activist angle (in keeping with this thread) don't ever dare creating meaningful change in the world Rolling Eyes

Ah, one of the people bank rolling them has realised that the just stop oil turds are just a bunch of selfish twats who are causing disruption for the sake of disruption rather than to further their cause.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12230763/Wealthy-entrepreneur-bankrolling-Just-Stop-Oil-turns-unproductive-climate-mob.html

The protesters need to be held accountable for obstructing the highway and their supporters need to wake up to the fact that causing disruption simply for the sake of disruption isn't a valid form of protest.

I seen a wee fatty with pink hair at Kelsall Steam rally on Saturday, I assumed it was identifying as female and was an lezzer.

My reasoning for that judgment, there just wasn't enuf beer available for any decent male to actually pump it.

Just Stop Oil protesters were drenched in water by a furious Londoner standing on a balcony on Thursday morning as they held up yet more traffic

Thinking

Sure it was water? If the bloke shouted 'Gardyloo' when he emptied that overthem, they might want a tetanus jab! Laughing

I find people moaning about protestors a lot more tiresome than the people doing the protesting in the first place.

Insightful article from the pro-Indie but otherwise excellently written Wink -if you ignore the comments section- ‘Wings Over Scotland’ website The author has repeatedly expressed concern at the influence of trans-activists on Holyrood policy. His ‘First Direct (a division of HSBC) bank account has been cancelled without explanation.
