Also NES, Atari, Windows classics, and more.

https://playclassic.games/games/dos-games/

Seems like it works by embedding an emulator in the browser. Games I've tried so far are a little bit stuttery with sounds and graphics rendering, but very cool to see all these classics nonetheless.

EDIT: Works perfect in Chrome. (I was on firefox before)

If you want to lose several weeks, maybe months of your life try Ultima VII or Wasteland Smile

You didn't know about this?

There are tonnes of similar browser emulator sites. You can play NES and MegaDrive games and various others too.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I thought it probably best to do the old one first to get some context.

No I didn't Laughing hence this thread.

I knew about old games repositories where you can download what you want, but never seen an emulator bunged into a browser. Very cool.

Firefox was dodgy for me too. It loaded but the graphics were all jumpy.

Chrome works

I love the way the flashiness of the packaging compared to the crapiness of the actual game graphics.

I remember losing interest in Zork and Hitchhikers Guide initially 'cos I just couldn't get a handle on what it wanted you to type in (they were leaps ahead of the previous <verb> <object> model) but great fun when I was a bit older.

Well worth remastering with AI (if that hasn't been done already.)
