I did notice a sudden influx (no pun) of toy cars (those ones that run on batteries)in Glasgow when I was in town last week.

I probably got skunked for £60 on the new LEZ too.
It's such a great incentive for me to replace my perfectly working car for a newer one.
Fucking Scotch Tomatoes we have in parliament in Scotland.

It's not just Scotland mate, ULEZ is being rolled out across all of the UK.

I posted about this nonsense a while back. It's not the principle that is wrong, it's the implementation. In their wisdom, the Scottish Government have single-mindedly encircled all the car parks that serve Glasgow. So humphing a car load from argyll Street to a train/bus station isn't exactly inducement to manually shop in the dying City Centre.

(shopping online is a dire cunt of a system too.)

I saw a guy today on one of those electric scooters but he haf fitted a seat to it and a trailer with his shopping strapped to it. It was quite impressive really and wouldn't have looked out if place in a Mad Max movie.

I've seen a couple of those around my gaff. Makes a joke of the whole system TBH. It's a bit like everything in this fcuked up country. Can't enforce laws so just do an ostrich.

Very easy to enforce laws if they get a number plate and the keeper fesses up when questioned.

Which say, those who can be punished are punished.
Those who don't have the means to pay fines and the jails are full, ggo unpunished. (And they know it.)

After just coming back from Europe, paying £1.60 per litre in France and Germany, £1.40 in Caerphilly is welcome.
