What a beautiful voice and when she performed her song Mandinka it was obvious she was a talented singer-songwriter.

That Prince cover and the accompanying video was that rare thing where the cover surpassed the original.

I'm not a fan per say but when she did Visions of You on Jah Wobble's album Rising Above Bedlam it lifted that LP (she refused payment for it).

RIP

Interesting Character.

He was right about British wrestling. It went to shit when crabtree and haystacks got involved.

We knew it was staged, but at least it wasn't comical.

I understand that he was really pissed-off about that episode and hoped that that wouldn't be the thing that he would be remembered for.

It's weird. People lauding her when she was really not that good relative to class acts that existed. Watch Janis Joplin and see class but she's almost forgotten nowadays.

Effectively yes, she topped hersel'.

If looking after one's health, keeping out of trouble and not being obsessive about stuff is trying to stay alive?

Then what S. O'C was famed for, wasn't any of that.

An coroner might certify it as misadventure on CoD.

Necking a bottle of alcohol in a one'r on top of a cocktail of medicaments is suicidal.

CoD "Suspicious".

"In an interview with Dr. Phil in 2017, O’Connor revealed she’d attempted suicide no less than eight times in one year after being “flung” into menopause by a “radical” hysterectomy (removal of the uterus). “What kicked all of this off really was, I had a radical hysterectomy in Ireland two years ago and I lost my mind after that,” she said. “And that’s what I think happened with my family, and we have to give my family credit. They’re not here to speak for themselves so I don’t want to disrespect them, but the fact is, they didn’t know who the hell I was.”

In tribute.

I've seen her live and I'd say she was a world class songwriter and perfomer.
