Dear Administrator,

Google ads is doing some crazy shit with ads covering the whole screen so please fix it for us.

Yours sincerely,

I'm also getting them. The creep-up ads are annoying but tolerable. Popovers are straight-up intrusive.

I prefer the dating app ads. The lassies all look gorgeous. I should give it a bash. The app I mean, not the Bishop.

These new pop-up advertisements are the only reason I choose to remain an active forum member.

It is indeed, heartening to learn that you are such a big part of the problem Sir. Laughing

Click literally anywhere on the screen that's not in the advert box and it disappears.

I've also noted a few tug-worthy ads from M&M direct - pretty ladies in underwear - dem cookies must have a lot to answer for. Shifty

TLDR all above.

The 'New Ad' strategy was mildly irritating but I see more malicious ads that use a really wee x button, in the top right, to close the ad.

It smells or insistence, determination or some other devious design.

I know some systems get a few pennies just by opening shite.
And Korr finances an illegal inflatable boat people to UK Shores campaign, from that ad revenue too.

If we could control who's ads we see, and not be made vulnerable to hoodwinkery, that would be great.

Misclicking the tiny x, can open a Pandora shop.
