Hi, I race a FZR400 3tj with a thundercat 600 engine.

Currently I’m running 160/60 ZR17 rear tyre.
If I were to put a 180/60/17 on the rear, would this fit the standard wheel without rubbing the swingarm?

If not, has anyone done a swingarm swap? Maybe with a FZR600?

No, and the rim is not wide enough, so the profile of the tyre will be stretched and you'll get absolutely terrible handling.

The FZR600 swinging arm is steel and not as light as the 400 arm. You'd be better off trying for something like an R6 arm but it would take a lot of modification to make it work.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
