Looks like Mr PooTin has swiftly done away with his erstwhile competitor Shocked

Well that's disappointing, but can't say I'm surprised.

He didn't seem to be in the best of health when I saw him in 2013 with Whitesnake (on their tour with Thunder and Journey) but he was still able to perform pretty well.

Unlike Journey, who were just shite.

Was Steve Perry (Barry Manilo stunt double) still wearing his sister's leopard vest that he wore for Don't Stop Believin'?

I thought he was a lot older.

Bit of a controversial fella if truth be told.

Thinking Curious . . .

Poor bloke spends ten entire years in a tunnel and not a single mention in The Guinness Book Of Records. Sad

I'm getting worried about some of these old guys now.

Illya Kuryakin was one of my first great crushes (aged about 4 years old Laughing ) I had a glow in the dark badge on my fleecy U.N.C.L.E. pyjamas.

There's far too many of whom I am very fond who are now creeping up into their late 80s and even 90s. Lots of my heroes all wearing wiry grey eyebrows and tottering around on canes - if not quite walking frames, but close.

I foresee a period of great international mourning soon. Crying or Very sad
