I'm buying fucking mince pies (I hate them) and Christmas Pudding (which I can barely eat, and even then only with loads of cream and/or custard).

A Lumilight LED headband work light.
Very good spread of usable light with a nice and handy on/off wave sensor.

I've been facebook spammed with those that are like a band of LEDs but the prices are all over the place from about £10 to £30.
But they are on ebay from about £7
My 5 year old normal one is about falling to bits I might try one.

I paid about twenty quid from the Lumilight website.
It's really comfortable to wear and I'm using it a lot more than I thought I would.

It appears that ste needs a new one because he's just drilled through his old one.

Some transparent line for 2t pump to cylinder. The original ones on my Suzuki are 44 years old, so very stiff and one day might split. But also black, which I never thought was a particlarly logical idea... So I'm finally going to replace them.

A lot better than I expected them to be as a base layer. Decent thermals. I seem to have a problem with all my trousers though with my knee pads being shin pads. Must have silly long thigh bones.

Don't be ridiculous, Nobster.

I would never shag someone from the same forum as I hang out on.
It's been one of my "Cardinal rules of Jennifer" since about 1998.

Chit-chat in DMs, sure.
Flirting, maybe (if you're lucky).
Shagging, unlikely.

Its just too messy, been there done that, now using the t-shirt as an oily rag.
Can't be arsed with all the he-said, she-said shite that goes on, so I just don't indulge.

It's quite annoying when one's current squeeze turns up on your home-turf forum - at first its mildly flattering and entertaining, but you can't really "be yourself" the same way when they are there.

I've been inclined to walk away from several home-forums (including this one) when my better-half (whoever it might have been at the time) showed up.
Luckily the one who turned up here buggered off of his own accord* eventually, so I didn't have to slink off and find somewhere else to pester people.
Apart from him, I tend not to tell people about BCF - you're all my dirty little secret Shifty

So, Nobby dear ... that's why anyone on this forum is safe from my ministrations.
Make of that what you will, I know what I'm about.

... although its been *very* tempting at times (not looking at anyone in particular) Laughing

* one never knows when he might show up again, of course - unless he's forgotten his password

Luckily the Military Type lives in splendid isolation by the beach in Turkey and seems disinclined to return to living in crusty old Blighty any time soon.

I might wear my Mrs Claus dress for Christmas Day, see what happens. Thinking

I'm not up for living with a chain-smoker again, anyway.

It would be nice to find a new husb to look after me in my dotage.
Someone to do all the thinking and bill-paying whilst I flit about being HRH hellkat as per usual ... but nothing remotely appropriate has turned up yet.
The Senior Consort got close to that level ... but he was silly enough to let me go.
They always regret it later.

I think I've probably got too fussy in me old age *shrug*
I put up with a lot less nonsense than I used to.

Prolly the same for older chaps, too:
We'll have none of your flighty antipodean diva nonsense around here, young lady!

Aye, and then there's the whole aspect of 'can I be bothered to run around trying to please the unpleasable instead of doing what I want to do' - the longer I remain single the easier it gets. And in any case I've still got dependant kids - yeah, you do the maths!

I found a pair of Matrix motorcycle ratchet straps on FB market place for a reasonable price, although I've no idea what makes them motorcycle specific. Question

I bought a nylon strings guitar (Ortega rce145), it's my first guitar of this kind. The playability is worse though, compared to the narrow steel strings guitar necks with ''unlimited'' sustain, that I'm used to, but the novelty of the nylon strings sound and feel are both worth it so far. Some pain and frustration involved as well. I'm probably playing it wrong. Thinking

Are you blowing across the hole?

I think you're supposed to use a bow on it.
