This is very sad, but is it any sadder than any of the other 100s of people a year that go missing, often never to return? The facts suggest that the poor womens has taken her own life and the police have said 'no suspicious circumstance' , but now Norfolk constabulary seems to have thrown the kitchen sink at the investigation while everyday crimes such as burglary (if they have that in Norfolk) and anti-social behaviour (probably) go unadressed. Am I being cold hearted here?

If your surname is Lord, why would you call your child Gaynor? Laughing

How old is the child and think about the trends when they were born.

As a rule of thumb, children tend to be approximately zero years old when they're named.

Gay Lord's parents named it in the late 60's.

Someone's seducing middle aged women then arranging to meet them near bodies of water? Would explain why she was in full lemming mode nearly getting herself runover.

Dead naming is worse than murder, shame on you, Islander!

If it's a serial drowner then do you think it could be related to the Manchester pusher who has been inactive for a few years now?

It's interesting how 72 out of the 85 who died in rivers or canals in Manchester between 2008 and 2014 were male.

I'm unsure if there are any plausible reasons for why gay men would be more likely to fall into waterways.

https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/1024/branded_news/3F53/production/_103111261_p06j25xk.jpg

The way the deaths are concentrated around the east of Manchester city centre raises questions as well. That's a lot of deaths with open narrative verdicts.

None of that proves third party involvement and plenty of the deaded people will have been accidents rather than murder as drunk people and water aren't a good combination. Like the smiley face killer, it could just be people looking for patterns or explanations however tenuous the patterns might be.

Oh and a body has been found by the search teams looking for Gay Lord. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-67728331
