If a lemon and a pumpkin had offspring it would look like that. Cut it, boil it then put it in a curry, that would be quite nice.

A gourd? you are supposed to cut them in half and cover your genitalia assuming they will fit. Would go down well at Aunt Mabel's party.

Cut it in half lengthways, scoop the seeds out (you can roast these seperately with salt and paprika as a snack) drizzle in oil, season and roast. Serve with chilli in the scooped out bit and some sour cream or soft cheese on top.

Or chop it up and make a squash and chickpea curry.

It's an old fashioned enema pump.
It's for stubbornly clagged bottoms, where a gravity bag doesn't have enough 'push'.

Top tip: The hose, if you can find it, is re-useable.

This is what I love about BCF. You ask a perfectly reasonable question and half the answers involve shoving it up your arse or wearing it as a genital crash helmet. Spot on chaps. Thumbs Up Laughing

Did we find out what it is, or was stinkwheel suggesting you just cook and eat it regardless?

It's still sitting in the vegetable basket, daring me to take a knife to it. Laughing

I still have no idea what it actually is!

Safety first. Polarbear hasn’t finished deactivating it with nail clippers and a screwdriver.

I wouldn't consider eaten it if he's already followed my advice but each to their own.

Well, I cooked it like Stinkers suggested. Roasted with Chilli beef in it.

The chilli was fine, the thing, it was vile. Sick Puke

Never again.

My wife calls them 'Onion Squash' and grows a few of something similar every year. You can eat the skin, but some can be a bit tough and stringy, so best peeled. Best used in stews, soups etc.

NOTE These small squashes only keep for a few weeks.
