A Supersports...probably not the 675cc but look, it has a full fairing.

Fingers crossed for a decent price-tag.
If it's built like the recent trumpets it'll be very good.

Its going to be based on the Trident 660, same engine and frame design, new fairings and semi-clipons

It's designed to compete with the R7, Aprillia RS660, and Ninja 650 (not the ZX-6R)

Should be similar price too, around £7-8000 from what i've seen

I'm assuming all the Triumph die-hards will be in uproar just like when the Yamaha R7 was announced "that's not a proper R7/Daytona"

I quite like - except teh (performance) spec and weight is comparable to an early 90s Jap 600/4 ..
Fazer/Thundercat/Hornet era..

Race reps have never been my cup of tea but it's a pretty bike and let's be honest, how many proper race reps would they sell if they made a 'proper' Daytona.

I'm not even that sure they will sell that many of these but fair play in trying to do something different (for modern bikes) with their line up.
