hey there,new to the forum.
i have had a few issues with this 125 ive been tryn to save.shes been parked up a number of years...i am redoing the wiring and all was goin well until i lost power to the main headlamp.i have 11.5 volts running to the park light,so thats seems fine.also i can only find 2 fuses on her and they seem to be fine...2 x 20 amp.i have power goin to everything else bar the main headlamp...any ideas for me to try? be much appreciated...

As it seems you have a multimeter start with the headlamp connector and work your way back till you hit some voltage. e.g. headlamp > switch > ignition > fuse > battery.

You say lost power so did it have power before?

I'm not famliar with the GZ125 but some small bikes of that era use direct lighting which draws AC direct from the alternator when the engine is running (and only when the engine is running) to power the headlight.
