Hi Folks,
Looking at investing in an app that can take my motorcycle offroad or green laning.
There are everal out there like, view ranger now called something else. Another called smart trail.
And further another called OS Maps.
Has anyone used these any of the aforementioned apps and your comments on their use?
Thumbs Up

Viewranger became outdoor active, as a former viewranger customer I had bought local OS map tiles and that continues with bonus of having OS for the whole country for free but you have to be in signal area - lots of places round here still have none.
When it was viewranger the ones I had bought were held on device.
So pluses and minuses.
If you just want OS map with lanes marked it's on bing maps anyway look at drop down RH side.

With regards to 'no signal' better to stick to paper maps?

There will still be apps that let you store areas you have paid for surely.

OS Landranger maps on my Garmin for the win. Wub

Routes are made using a combination of the Garmin app, https://maps.the-hug.net/ and https://cycle.travel/

Or as I've got the Landranger maps on my Garmin, I can just make the route up as I go.
