Thankyou.

It is not bad at all. I had cleaned it to death for selling but the sun was shining today so couldn't resist taking it out. Got minging in due to far to fuckin much rain in spring time.

Still not sold yet. Quite surprised really as it's at a good price. Someone will want it soon I've no doubts. Cracking wee bike.

Oh well goals achieved. No girlfriend and no fucking bike. First person that came to see it bought it. It was a cracking little bike. A bit sad really as it was a handsome sportsbike

So that's me down to three bikes and no girlfriends.

Feeling the urge to go to the track again. Going to take the cbr600 once I get it running.

May your god be with you. In the words of Dave Allen At Large.

Single life is goood. Afternoon playing pool going for food and getting slightly enibriated.

Ruined my day as my pet fucking arsehole of a chauahau decided he wasn't coming home. I spent the night searching for the wee cunt. He's no road sense and I expected the worst. Whilst in the depths of dispair I manged to drink more whisky as it was my only choice at that time.

2hrs later the wee bugger turned up at the front gate. He got a huge smack on the arse that I immediately felt bad about as he is only the size of a bag of sugar.

My boy Winston is a maniac and no amount of dog whisperers is going to fix that. He's aggressive, thinks he's second in line behind me but treats everyone else like they are his bitch. He was the cheapest of the litter that I got to choose from. Apparently his docked tail was not well done so well so no good for showing. I would rather cut my left testicle off than go to a dog show.

So Out of my original CBR's 250, 400, 600 and 900, I've only got the 600 left. The 600 is about the best balance of the lot of them. Bloody thing never starts.

Happy weekend

Did I mention that the 500 handlebars are squint from when it got blown over in the wind. Taking it to the garage Monday hopefully just a slackening of nut straighten the bars and of we go. If the forks are twisted then I'm fucked.

Listening to Art and Garfuncel and Leonard Cohen (wrong thread) Honestly you should give Leonard Cohen a listen too.

Thinking about putting a claim in. Hearing damage. I was a mechanic in the RN back in about 1984. Spent hours in seriously noisy engine rooms with 16 cylinder diesel engines, but worse was the screaming of the gas turbines. Think jet engine in a small space.

There was no advice about hearing protection back then. Nor any required. You just got on with it, strangely on watch monitoring the oil pressure on a humongous diesel engine used to make you want to go to sleep.

Anyway I'm as deaf as can be now. My left ear is almost completely deaf and I am probably that used to tinitus that my brain thinks it's normal.

I reckon I could get a few grand for this. What do you think?

Been loving getting on the wee Rebel. At 60mph you feel like your doing 80. Got the Street triple and cbr 600 for when I'm bored of the 500.

Then sell it all and buy a Ducatic Supersport. Just because what more of a c*ntish thing to do tha sell your cruiser and buying a Ducati.

Sons siezures are getting worse and worse, driving me crazy with worry. In general this is the only thing that matters all the rest is cosmetic. Why I'm back on the whisky of an evening Laughing

Thinking abot using the 600 as a trackbike again, not been at the track in ages, a spin around Knockhill would be fun.

Booked the BSB at Knockhill. Fuck camping at the weekend. I've booked a hotel.

I genuinly don't like people, just because. Happy with me and the dogs. Visitor come and I find myself wishing they weren't there. Even people that I'm supposed to love but don't. Anyway ocht well.

This is my favourite song at the moment.

I really hope you aren't from the UK if you have a dog with a docked tail...

His tail is docked and shorter than my penis of which is really short.

Is it illegal to have docked tails? My knob has been docked it seems

You can't show a dog with a docked tail in the UK and it's illegal to dock a tail unless for veterinary reasons (for the welfare of the dog) or because it's a working dog (and you have to show that the dog is exepcted to be a working dog and not just a working dog breed.)

It is pretty cruel to dock a dogs tail, I'm not sure how much they know about it though

Dog came with docked tail which is the done thing with the breed apparently. I would never cut a dogs tail off. One thing, he doesn't chase his tail. We had a dog called Wicky many years ago that chased and bit his tail to the point of having to go to the vets with pretty severe bite marks on the arse end of it's tail. Even a cone like structure on his rear end couldn't stop him. He was possessed and had to get put down. I loved that dog.

Booked myself a trackday at Knockhill, it's been a while. Taking the Rebel. Laughing Now the Rebel would probably hit 100 on a downhill and getting it to 90 is an ordeal. My pegs will scrape giving me the heebyjeebies.

Guaranteed there will be an R! or something kicking my arse on the long straight to Duffus. Then in the twisty section the same R1 will be slowing me up. I'm not fast at all and would never claim to be. I actually did my ACU, raced and came last. Well there were 5 non finishers so tecnically not last.

If I enjoy it then will get the CBR600 serviced for next time.

One day I'll grow out of this stage, but not today.

Nice run today in the beautiful sunshine. East Lothian, Edinburgh, Jedburgh>Alnick> Seahouses, then back up to East Lothian via Duns. Absolutely loads of bikes out. 8 hours later and I'm knackered...man I'm getting old. The two Tigers one front and one rear protecting my weenie Rebel. Laughing

This is the longest run I've done on the Rebel. Seat is not the uncomfiest but arse still aching after a few hours

Racing at East Forune to go to tomorrow. This should be fun.

Son's at respite so I'm making the most of it Smile

Just because I'm not normal. I'm seriously considering this girl. Everyone I mentioned it to thinks it's a bad idea. I have two already. But absolutely honestly I prefer dogs to people. Cos I'm a miserable sod. She's coming down on Sunday to see how she gets along with my nutjobs, Smile

I like it but it randomly won't start, no one seems to kno why. Surely it is just air and fuel. But it is just sat in the garage. I would keep that and sell the Rebel but the Rebel has been dropped and has two small dents in the tank. I have this on HP, not one of my better decisions.

Variety.

Street Triple? What year?

If the lights come on and it all "looks" ok, the older ones had a weak headstock wiring, which rubbed and can cause that.

Annoying as parking up can make it worse.

It's an 09 mate. I will get it running, I know a good mechanic just can't get booked in until End June.

I will give the electrics a good once over.

Thanks

Anyway decided not going to sell the street Triple. I have come to my senses and realised that an additional Old English Bulldog is not the sensible thing to do. My house is not big enough and it wouldn't be fair on my 11 year old chihuauha. It's taken him seven years to get over the first OEB. He had bad depression for about two years.

I am never usually sensible.

I've been looking at Titanium for bike security chain. Won't be so easy to gring through. Also titanium drive chain seems sensible.

If you haven't tried it before try Aldi ice cream, Strachans, rasperry ripple is best.

Love Laughing Cow cheese.

Bike's doing my fucking head in, left the keys in the ignition overnight. Had someone next morning knock on the door to say I had the keys in the ignition and he was tempted to steal it. Shocked

Battery dead.

Ok no probs just give it a charge in situ. Not taking a charge. The bike is only a year old surely the battery is not goosed. Buy an optimiser from Honda Dealer as it fits remote connector into the battery. Of course that didn't work either. Cunts sold me a charger when I only needed an adaptor.

Dealer wanted me to bring the bike in so they could put it on their industrial charger. What the fuck is an 'industrial charger' anyway and why would I need it?

Anyway, basically have a dead battery down to my own stupidity. After much pained knuckles and frustration I can't for the life of me get the battery out. Yep I've looked at you tube videos but it's an almighty pain in the arse. Dealer said so himself!

No bike for two days in this great weather. Not impressed.

Then actually realise that I pay for RAC. So sent in a breakdown about 10 minutes ago. See what happens. Been paying RAC for about 40 years and have only used them once. Fuckers.

Also Aldi Highland Earl whisky form Aldi is not bad. I was a grouse man but couldn't resist the price of the Aldi. Gave it a try and it's not bad.

Nope I don't have shares in Aldi's. Just started going there a few weeks ago. Food and shits not bad at all. I'm a convert.

Got the 600 booked in to get road worthy and MOT's in July cos can't get it booked in any sooner. Mechanic is good but a nightmare if you need him soon.

Anyway bike has depressed me I'm off for a joint.

Second photo my mate looks like Putin on mushrooms.

I have literally just signed up to this forum after spending about 2 hrs reading this thread from start to finish, then realising I could see all the pics after I signed up, so had to skim through again. Brick Wall

Just wanted to say sorry about your wife but also thanks for keeping the updates going, reading this thread reminded me why I used to go on forums before Facebook and Whatsapp etc. Generally a much more honest and humble discussion in these old school places.

Anyways, all the best.

Thanks Dan. Wife was seven years ago now. Time goes quick.

I use this thread as a diary of my life. It's quite handy being able to use it to recall life moments. Laughing I can barely remember what I did last week.

Yep. I get a hit out of buying random bikes and selling them as I don't ride them. At a loss it seems, . Bi-polar Shocked

Was at the BSB on Sunday. First time at a major racing weekend. It absolutely pissed down all day which is to be expected at Knockhill.

I still loved it. I was exceedingly impressed with those crazy riders. If you've watched the highlights you will see how wet it was.

Speed they go at. They are very skillfull. Loads of crashes so maybe not all skillfull Laughing

It was great to see Rory Skinner win his first ever BSB race. It was the track he grew up so I reckon he had the advantage. See how he does in the next round.

New Honda CBR600RR won a Supersport race. Good to see Honda re-introducing the 600

Can highly recommend the BSB if you haven't been before.

My plan for future events are IOM TT in 2026. Moto GP wherever there is cheap flights in 2007.

A tour around Europe before I die would be good.

Only issue is I'm skint. I've got three bikes now so could sell one to pay for my trips. Other issue is getting respite for my son.

I also plan to win the lottery and wheelie a Panigale.

If anyone fancy's going to BSB and/or Moto GP, probably Silverstone, give me a shout. I promise to bore the tits of you.
