Hi,

So I've got a pair of Denali spotlights on my 99 FZS 600 and recently decided I want to try to upgrade the wiring so I can use both hi / low instead of the spotlights always being on high (default setting with standard plug sent with lights) to prevent blinding people.

To do this all you do is install the 'dual data-dim' plug (un-plug original and plug this in) and then you are supposed to plug the wire that comes with it into the on / off switch and into the bikes wiring on the headlight circuit.

The problem is my original switch (that has a plug for the wire) broke so I replaced it with the Denali 2.0 DrySeal Hi-Low-Off switch and this does not have the option to install the wire into it. You can't buy the original type, below, from what I can tell.

So do I forget about installing the wire since its for the old type of on / off switch and I get the feeling that I am supposed to take the feed wire for the circuit that's currently plugged into the rear brake wiring and re-install it onto the front headlight wirning curcuit instead and doing so should enable the hi / low feature automatically since I imagine the clever gremlins in the new plug and switch talk to each other and are only not working because the feed source is in the wrong place.

If that's the case does anyone know where the front headlight wiring runs? The plug in the junciton box (if there is one?). Don't wanna tap into the wrong wire.
