So, after another ''bad'' ending in RIVEN, I got Fallout: London (mod) for Fallout 4 G.O.T.Y. PC version of the game. I got the mod for free on GOG. Not to spam the BCF, but GOG says the offer ends on: 01/08/2024 15:59 EEST.

So far the Fallout: London does seem well executed, just like any other DLC for the original Fallout 4 game with some new ideas and redesigns of the classic pip boy, terminals and other Fallout bits. So far, I quite like it, to be honest. The world also seems nice, so far, and even the voice acting is alright. They also say there are 200 quests, so the game should last me for a bit. Thumbs Up

As for the story, there is no need to be familiar with the original Fallout games.

How does it run? On my i5 6600 + 1070Ti, 16GB RAM, I get rock solid 60fps at 1440p with everything set to max. 4K is a bit too much for the 1070ti with everything set to max, and it's too late for me (time to sleep) to tweak the settings to get playable frame rate at 4K. I vaguely remember playing the original Fallout 4 game at 4K with solid 60fps on the same hardware. Thinking

EDIT/UPDATE: So, I played some more and this MOD is way more thorough than I thought. It really does feel like another Fallout game and I also do enjoy the new radio stations that genuinely fit the environment.

Just bought the F4 GOTY from GOG and got the F4:L mod too. Gonna give it a shot later. It's now my new lunch break game haha

Also diving into Fallout: London on my potato old laptop, few bugs and tweaks to get it running but cant complain really. Devs are working hard to bugfix quickly, pass out information on how to fix things etc. Cant expect anything running on bethesda software to be perfect especially when its a free mod.

Gamewise its exactly what id hoped for, enough fallout feel but enough of a complete new world to make it different. Thumbs Up

I booted it up but I'm currently in the middle of another Cyberpunk 2077 playthrough 'cos of the new DLC. And now I have a system I can dial up to ultra + ray tracing.

Fallout: London? Gouge out my eyes!

Food fight - 1983 arcade game. Simple yet addictive, it tweaks the same part of my brain as Pac-man.

Nobody wants to die (2024) - 7/10

It's a noire cyberpunk detective story driven game with beautiful visuals, some clever ideas, however the game is very short. I played it on my PC (i7 7700K, 1070Ti), 1440p with FSR and low to medium settings with textures set to high. 50-60fps throughout the game, the free sync making the whole experience smooth.

I liked the game a lot, but it was very short. They could do much more with the world and the story. That being said, it's not a full price game, so I guess the length is alright for the money.

Finished Phantom Liberty!

I'd have to say one of the few DLCs that I don't begrudge paying the money for.

Blast from the past...

Mad Max: Road Warrior

Console to PC conversion, typical for the era. Ramping up all the settings to (hehe) max it doesn't look too bad. The body animations are pretty awful but hooning around the desert looks perfectly acceptable. It's your typical open map, main quest + "stumble across" side missions à la FarCry genre - unoriginal but well executed.

Simple, brain-in-neutral fun Smile

I'm still playing PS2 shutoko battle zero(Tokyo extreme racer zero). It's race battle game with rivals on highway in Tokyo. I really like the idea of SP gauge, and they gave each rival car/drivers back grounds and charasteristics. I think it's rather cult race game which have core fans.
I have shutoko battle 01 too, but I prefer zero better cause zero have various other normal cars on highway while 01 has only Toyota high-ace as official cars.

Recently Genki(maker of this game) announced teaser pv on its official YT channel and they say it will be released on Steam(PC game).
I installed Steam in my PC and waiting for their release.

Have to look at it in context of the time, a pretty good effort really. We're all spoilt now by the likes of Baldur's Gate 3 and Elden Ring...

On that, I'm making my third attempt at playing Sekiro - Shadows Die Twice. Despite being a veteran of Dark Souls 3 and Elden Ring, not an easy game!

Hopefully by the time I've finished Sekiro (if I indeed make it all the way through) the PC conversion/emulation of Bloodborne will be sufficiently refined. (Playable at the moment by the graphic upgrades are WIP)

Trüberbrook (PC) - 7/10

I got the game for €1.49 (95% off) and although I don't usually take price of a game into consideration, in this case I do.

Now, the visuals and soundtrack are both great actually, I really like the art style and locations. That's why I gave this a go, well that and the price tag (€1.49). It's a sci-fi point and click adventure game, that takes place in 1967 German mountain village. The sceneries are all hand made and the devs. did a great job. The art style does feel unique.

As for the gameplay though, the whole experience feels very guided and the puzzles are way too simple and obvious. Perhaps I'm not the target audience, but if I paid the full price for this game, I would have been rather disappointed.

TL;DR: Beautiful visuals, nice soundtrack, alright story, poor puzzles and gameplay.
