Just bought:

T15, T20, T25 and T30 Go/No-Go gauges all with traceable certificates....

Just rinsed me for 3,618 Euros before it even reaches the border and humps me for VAT and import duty...

Hah nah. chair refurbished, 1200 down to 360. S24 got for 730 refurbished. Just sold my 23 for 600. No eBay fees:D

The shaver was a factory refurbished too - almost half price.

A very careful spend but very good value from my point of view ad I've got exactly what i want and still with a years guarantee Smile

Actually bought last month but only put into use recently: Samsung's version of the smart tag for our cat, Jasper.

https://i.imgur.com/Un9Y0TB.jpeg

Yes, I think it's safe to say he's comfortable with his new home!

Anyhoo, he's out and about exploring and it's surprising how far cats roam in an urban environment. He came home the other night, sans collar. Later the tag (on the collar) pinged a few roads over. "Fuck it, I'll go knock." Cue opportunity to engage with neighbours (than none of us really does enough.)

"Grey cat, yeah we've seen him in our garden. The dog chased him." (One of those tiny ornamental yapping furballs, barely bigger than Jasper.) Found the tag by activating the ringer on it so they do work even though way beyond the range of my personal phone.

Dishwasher

Bought a Hisense one from Amazon Prime Day to replace my failed Bosch one - only 4 years old.

About £100 cheaper than currys etc due to prime day discount and free delivery.

Never bought anything Hisense before so fingers crossed.

Before anyone gives a new cat a name they should always consider that almost certainly one cold winter night you will you will be walking the streets shouting that name, unless you have a smart tag of course. Very Happy

A few years ago me and the wife were walking the cold frosty streets at around midnight shouting 'RAMA!' as quietly as we could. Rolling Eyes

Waterproof over trousers. Let the ”off-season” begin.

Mountain Warehouse Downpour Mens Waterproof Trousers

I haven’t tried them out yet but I like the long leg zips which ought to make them easy to put on over boots.

Electrolysis for my grey old-lady whiskers.

When I had my skin cancer cut out*, they pulled all my skin up to cover the hole, but the hairs that used to be under my chin ended up on my cheek, the wiry fuckers.
Laughing

Apparently I can have the dark ones lasered, but grey (white) hairs need electrolysis.
So I am treating myself to a course, to get rid of the grey ones for good when they pop up (there were way more than I thought, and bound to be more in the future Laughing ) and then just have the darker ones lasered once in a while.

*I'm currently a bit concerned there might be a second one starting between the scar and my nose ... so I am waiting for an appointment to have it photographed just in case I have to have that cut out as well Rolling Eyes don't want it getting as big as the first one Shocked

Bought wifie a new phone. She'd been on about how slow hers is for ages so I said I'd buy her one for an early chrimbo present. What would you like? I asked.

Samsung S24 Ultra please. I went a looked it up. Shocked

That's her Christmas present, birthday present and an awfully big free pass for any wrong doings I might engage in.

I also bought some Sailor Jerry spiced rum to numb the wallet pain.
