Quite.. the 'outlawed' rising sun might have worked better.

It isnt outlawed. The rising sun flag is the ensign of the Japanede navy still.

The Rising Sun Flag (旭日旗, Kyokujitsu-ki) is a Japanese flag that consists of a red disc and sixteen red rays emanating from the disc. Like the Japanese national flag, the Rising Sun Flag symbolizes the Sun. Naval Ensign of Japan.

I think he's left it hanging. Laughing

On the Japanese flag thing, the imperial Japanese flag on the tank would probably look great just because it's got that Warhol pop aesthetic. Although I'm told it's not PC these days, and in any case would come across as a bit tryhard, almost like a Confederate flag on a Harley. Some people do it in Japan though.

I don't see why they can't put a proper mudguard on it. That would fill a bit of that massive hole between the seat and tyre. Also a headlight would be nice.

Someone described a Ducati Diavel to them over the phone then they tried to copy it based on that.

How to kill yourself in 60 seconds.

A Honda construction site / commercial equipment engine bolted to a, well to a goodness knows what sort of frame. And check out the rear brake!

They make actual production mini-bikes not very dissimilar to that. Like this coleman one they sell in Walmart in the US.

GX160 is a lawnmower engine IIRC. I wouldn't think that was massively dangerous except for the comedic rear (only?) brake.

It will be very safe because those small engines use a little fan to govern engine rpm therefore power is limited.

Laughing

Not for me but at 400 quid it has to be an option for our resident ghey scooter-boi..

..WD where are you?

Did somebody mention ghey bois?

Ooooh hello, what's that?
Golly, a YP 250 of all things!

made to look like a.................
a..........
umm.......
the only word that comes to mind is WHY?

It's neither beautiful or useful, I'm musing over getting it for spares but the tank, seat, exhaust, frame, rear wheel, inlet manifold, bars and those silly mirrors plus probably a few other things are no use to me for starters.

I can see its a pre 2001 type as mine has a rear disc and tps on the carb,
If I bought it Mr Anglegrinder would be busy for a few days.

Yeah, killing it is probably the kindest thing for it now... have to say, though, the standard of the work that's gone into it is surprisingly good for one of these home made efforts; it's just a shame that the end result looks so irredeemably rank.

Another pretty good work but why? example
This guys been trying to flog this for 9 grand for a long time.
OK its shiny but the compromised rear suspension is a fuck up that Honda would never sign off on and its still a 50 bhp tourer at best.

Its just a grossly overpriced ornament now

As if the "café racer" look doesn't look bad enough at a distance, the seller has very detailed photos...

https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/FqYAAOSwNKVmjWE3/s-l640.webp

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/267019700227

As an aside, if the original photo is this:

The "1600" is the horizontal resolution. You can put in a different number to scale it down. For example, the picture above:
