Certainly in the top 10 radio DJs this country has produced and an all round nice guy, I will miss him.

'Catwoman' was stunningly beautiful before she chose to self-mutilate:-

Hard and saddening to believe it's the same person.

I are sadder about this than I expected to be, although he was the one I was least thrilled about.
My favourite was Jay, although back then one had to be seen to be enamoured of Donny, so I paid lip service to that requirement whilst secretly ogling Jay.

Eventually I grew up and discovered Queen instead.
There's a rumour that Brian May is on his way out the door, having had a stroke recently, but then so has Jackie Stewart and that old bugger is still going strong too. Wub

Holy poo, I've got a pic somewhere of him winning the Welsh MTB Open, around 1990, in which my little brother also raced.
Back in the days when lil bro was ranked #12 UK junior mountain biker and Specialized gave him a top of the range bike, boy was I jealous!. That was just before shocks were put on MTB's.

I wonder if he went the way of the rest of us and turned into a fat, disillusioned, old scroat, longing for the glory days?

Body Horror-tastic iconoclastic movie director also responsible for the trippy 1984 Dune adaptation, David Lynch died aged 78 of emphysema.

Don't smoke, kids.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I didn't see any of the things David Lynch is most famous for, I thought they all sounded freakish - Eraserhead just looked weird and Twin Peaks was practically unintelligible, I gave up trying to watch it after about two episodes.

But the one film of his I did see was Wild at Heart.

Its one of my favourite films, not because Nicolas Cage was an absolute dish back then, especially with a set of slick shades and a snakeskin jacket , robbing banks and doing Elvis impressions on the tops of cars, but ...

... Willem Dafoe was the creepiest interloper with some proper bad teeth, an utter sleazebag - but his scene with Laura Dern in a motel room managed somehow to make me squirm, I hated myself for liking it but it made me breathless with lust. Only one other film, The Piano, has had an effect on me in that way (although not a David Lynch film).

RIP flakey movie director guy Cool

I thought his version of Dune was interesting and entertaining. Unlike the recent overlong and overblown versions.
Blue velvet was a great film. The surprise of that scene with the naked Isabella Rossellini will stay with me forever.

I actually saw him in the twilight of his career. one of the 3 people from Manchester United I have been privileged to see. Charlton, Best and Law.

I too saw all three of those gods playing (yes, I am that old) against my old hometown club, Huddersfield Town. They beat us with each one of them slotting in a goal in a 0-3 thrashing.

I never saw any of them in the same team. I wish I could have seen them at their zenith. I saw Best when he played for Fulham. I saw Charlton at Man Utd and Law at Manchester City. I would have loved to watch them when they were the greats.

Oh, and Nobby, you are such an obnoxious cunt. But you know that don't you.

Jeez, you're soooooo fucking predictable Rolling Eyes .
As I was typing the words 'Huddersfield Town' I could have bet my shirt that your DDS would kick in and that you'd probably let a little bit of wee slip out.
Like everything else in your upside down world, you got it wrong again.
I doubt that your nemesis was even born when I used to go to Town matches.
