Given the common etymology with "fascist" you'd think Lefties would throw out the word "faggot" with gay abandon when referring to Nazis Thinking

So you don't find it interesting that they're confirming the source of the email, even if that's part of a conspiracy?

So it's a case of 'Burn the faggots'.

Starmers thought police won't like that.

But the government have targeted some poxy right wing group that half of us have never heard of and probably has less members than the local women's institute who if they can read, may have had group discussions about the Anarchists cookbook so that should keep the troops onside eh!

"The first extreme Far-Right group..." whoa! bold action then. I think not. On the government's 2024 terrorist list there are:

3 non-political groups (Kurds, Sikhs, Wagner Group)
5 Communist groups
6 Neo-Nazis (as trumpeted in the article)
14 related to Northern Ireland

and (drum roll please)

67 Islamist groups

The above are all proscribed groups. "Blood & Honour" have only had financial sanctions applied so apparently they're not that bad Wink

The message: "Government boldly tackling more Far-Right thugs!"
The reality: mostly cars and trucks of peace, Alan Snackbar stabby-stabby.

There's Sikh separatist groups that have blown up planes: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Air_India_Flight_182

There was an assination last year in Canada (it's still going on): Canada charges three Indian nationals for assassination of Sikh separatist

Sikhs are in some ways similar to the Kurds: a ethno/religious/cultural group with no definitive homeland of their own. Not all the disposed lay down and give up like "Native" Americans and Aboriginals.

I'm playing an old classic at the moment, Spec Ops: The Line. It should probably be subtitled "War Crimes Simulator" Sad

Murdering a single person, face-to-face is no easy thing but there's a disconnect where it becomes very easy, once the body count reaches a certain point. It's debateable when it happens in the game but somewhere around the time your character burns out a military compound and its defenders with phosphorous Shocked

Russia will collapse around August 2025.

The economy and the military too.

US of A is in decline from world power is becoming the worlds joke, the good news is Russia and China are in much bigger decline.

The decline of the US empire means all kinds of local wars and warlords all over the world doing whatever they want.

Welcome to idiocracy:

Meh, not really.
I don't think its daft cos like I said, those chicks can be hellish scary.

Plus, although it appears to be traditionally macho, have you seen (for example) the film Whale Rider ? There are times when a wise elder sees a strength or a quality in a young woman and includes them in traditionally male activities.

I guess its part of accepting and being reflective of the qualities in a person rather than making a fuss about their gender, whatevs whatevs. Several rather tedious paths there which could be trodden (yet again) but I'm not buying seats in those debates.

My predictions for this year?

The labour government will prove to be better than the tories at improving things for the general public (yeah I know, its a low bar) but mainstream media and all the frothing far right gammons (including some on here) wont actually acknowledge it as it doesn't fit in with their rhetoric.

e.g.

TBF I did read something the other day and thought: "actually, that sounds like a good idea!" but fuck knows what it was now Sad

On the one hand I see David Lammy shooting his mouth off as idiotic but really, does it matter? If the Foreign Office counted for anything they wouldn't have put him in charge Smile

On the other, the Pound has just suffered a throat punch (against the Dollar and Euro) with financial people muttering about bond yields and government debt. Circumstances not a million miles away from those that took out Liz Truss. Not great for the long term outlook.

I'm £300 a years worse off with the old farts heating allowance stopped but hey, doctors and train drivers got bumper pay rises so they are happy.

Maybe it will turn out good for everyone we shall see. However the big parliament, the one that is going to hurt is the 2030 one where the eco crap really does bite. ICE cars banned. Gas boilers banned. That one will hurt because they will lose huge swathes of tax on fuels. People with little money wont be able to heat their homes at all because of the cost of heat pump conversions and the gov won't be able to fund it cause they will be broke.

That parliament, 30 to 35 is is going to hurt big time.
