It’s a book tour, in part.
Yamaha have lent her a new Ténéré but she said it was too heavy for her in an off-road excursion.

A very personable lady..
.. and highly motivated.

I do wonder what makes her tick.

To be fair its not that bad everywhere but the cancer is spreading.
As a foreigner it isn't easy to asses an area it isn't always easy for us if out of our own area that looks like a smart hotel and she parked outside the door with cameras on it which somehow caught nothing worthwhile.
France is not much better and Germany not far behind.

She was interviewed this week by Charley Boorman in his podcast "The Nod" - she talks a bit about that there.

30 years ago in France my mate and I wheeled our bikes into Hotel reception for teh night - the suggestion of the manager. Over cautious I expect but bike theft ain't new..

Wouldn't be surprised if whoever did it was from Iraq or thereabouts.

I had some Tiles (which they claimed Apple copied) but since they’re Bluetooth you either have to be in range or, crucially, enough people have the app on their phones and have Bluetooth working so that their phone will report your Tiles’ location if they happen to be in the vicinity, like a great big network of unaware supergrasses. I’m not convinced that switched-on group exists. I turn my Bluetooth off to save the battery when not in use.

Talking of batteries, the Tile battery lasted between one and two years and couldn’t be replaced. Also the chime was pretty weak so you wouldn’t hear it in a row of garages, for example.

Probably over ere for ABR again.

I watched a video of that where a woman asked her about the dangers of being a woman travelling alone and Noraly replied that it would be no more or less dangerous for a man. She’s right.

Even in quite unexpected places everyone seems to be almost over-keen to rally round and help her out - more so than a man - but it's partly her personality which overcomes language barriers.

Especially when she says "Subscribe down below" in that feminine way.

Dont watch all her vids anymore though as they're mostly the same. Tried, tested successful format so can't criticise her for that.
