I'm curious, Mr. FF68, if you overheard a conversation in about bar about how fantastic Harley Davidsons were would you interject with: "Listen here, you daft twats, anyone who likes Harleys is gay."

Factually correct but not necessarily the best opener with people you don't know.

the trouble is, when your writing a line of words on a forum, it doesnt always come across like it does when you are talking face to face.
its a lot easier for people to take things the wrong way and get a bee in their bonnet.
