Guided my daughter in some DIY, cutting out for pipes to go through and plumbing in her washing machine, also fitting a double extension clothes line and not only, but also building/putting together a new metal shed for her garden. She has to learn at sometime and now she can appreciate all the little jobs that I did for her ungrateful mother.

Had to remove copious amounts of leaves from the lawn so I can see where the doggo does his dump.

'Shadowing' (basically how to do my job, but on. A new site).

Made it a great pleasure to wind up the lad thinking I was an idiot, to the point he swapped with a lad I normally work with (different site same job).
Lad then complained when I drove past him, with my mate tucked up asleep.

Moral of story:
Treat someone like an idiot,
That is what, you get.

I do many sites and 'driving tests', my first question to anyone is 'do you want an easy day or hard day?'

Off for a twenty something mile paddle on the Thames tomorrow and there's a reasonable amount of flow at the moment so it should be fun.

Was hoping there will be enough rain for the Environmental Agency to put red boards up at the locks because they're to advise all boats not to navigate due to dangerous and difficult conditions but I don't think that's going to happen.

We want the dangerous and difficult conditions as this is a training run in daylight.
