Found "League of Gentleman" on an old hard drive. If it's somehow passed you by, it's a comedy ridiculing social conventions and relatively timeless. I've seen it a few times but now I'm noticing a few scenes where an actor is practically gnawing their own hand off trying not to laugh

- Female, dwarf, pensioner, speech impediment, captain ... check
- Captain has problems sitting in a chair ... check
- Overweight, black female, alien make up, attitude problem .... check
- Muscular boy with sad story, missing mommy ... check.
- One of the worst looking ships in Star Trek history ... check
- American frat boy type with a big mouth ... check
- Annoying holographic EMC from previous series ... check
- Groovy alien ship, easily disables goodies ship in seconds ... check
- Dramatic music because someone turns the lights on ... check
- Dramatic speeches ... check
- Slow, dramatic walk into airlock, equally dramatic music ... check
- Teenagers, just arrived, know exactly how to save everyone ... check
- Laughing, maniacal baddie, who escapes ... check
- Dramatic saving of ship about to be destroyed ... check
- Sweeping montages with inspirational overtures ... check
- Incredibly bad modern rendition of classic song for montage ... check
- Moving conversation between captain and mummy boy ... check
- Long thoughtful pause looking out the window ... check

I actually feel sick after watching episode 3 of Starfleet Academy ... if this is indicative of the shows we'll be watching in the future, then I want to die now!

Discovered TED LASSO whilst I was away (I don't have Apple TV)
Loved it.


Also started SLOW HORSES, which looks rather good, but will have to work out how to stream Apple TV to finish it

Oh yeah, also finished all the other DEXTERs whilst on long haul.

I do love that big schnitzel
