Having my application for flexible retirement officially approved last Thursday then being told they'd backdated it to the 1st July and owed me some extra days off.

That's me down to a three day week while I get my framework finished and ready to hand over. People are going to be hearing "I'll get to that when I can but I'm no longer full time so don't hold your breath" a lot Mr. Green

I'm a happy chappy!

I removed the belly pan on the Street quite a while ago to give it a deep clean and put the bolts in a 'safe place'.
Obviously I couldn't remember where that was when I decided to refit the panel. I searched high and low and eventually gave up, thinking I'd have to buy some more.
Cut to today and my brother in law asked me if I could try to remove a stuck bold for his lawn mower blade as he'd tried everything.
I went home and gathered the tools which included a 13mm socket which was in a case with all its other little socket friends along with the four missing bolts for the belly pan.

Tl,dnr. - Stuck lawn mower blade bolt removed = missing bike bolts found.

At work today I was asked if I could help fix a problem someone was having with a PC. I replied I can try but that I'm not very good with windows. They expressed surprise because someone else had told them I'm good with computers. "Yes, that's why I don't use windows.".

As it happens, they hadn't plugged the keyboard in, but it amused me anyway.

I used to have my keyboard and mouse on a USB switch and then toggle between HDMI/DisplayPort on the monitor. I found a little program on GitHub "display-switch" than tracks when a device (e.g. the keyboard) is plugged/unplugged and then tells the monitor via DDC to switch ports! Now it's a single button push and I'm feeling quite smug about my cleverness*
