The Furka Pass reaches approximately 2,436 metres above sea level and connects the Ursern Valley with the Goms region in Valais. Its high-altitude road, exposed mountainsides and many hairpin bends make it one of Switzerland’s best-known Alpine crossings. The road was also used as a filming location for the James Bond movie Goldfinger.
