LiFePO4 - upside is less apocalyptic failures, downside is there's no cost effective way to recycle them. AFAIK the best you can do is try and recondition them.

You're right but its badly labelled.
Li-ion is denser and can have thermal runaway whereas Lifipo4, a subset of Li-Ion isn't as dense and doesn't.
