Brand new i would imagine it would be deristricted... but an indicated 95 seems a little high, my NSR would only indicate about 85 if i was pushing it, ____________________ CBT Aug '03 ... Gilera GSM 50 ... Honda NSR 125 Aug '04 ...

Probably unrestricted.. your speedo may be out. Infact just about every speedo is out either + or - 7mph or so.
So no worries. But dont push the 2 stroke motor at its top end too much. We all know about Aprilia's being a little sensitive! ____________________ Big Kawasaki ZXR 400 project here:

Indicating 95 means that it is definately derestricted (edit - unless your speedo is way out). I wouldn't expect you to see much more than 105, 110 max indicated. You'll be pushed to see much beyond a real 95mph from what I can gather.
RS125's do not make 33bhp as standard, more like 28 or so.
If it were restricted to 14.6bhp, 70-75 would be the most you'd see from it. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

No. Indicated 95mph. That MUST be restricted because derestricted, The RS125 can do 170mph.
Nah, Seriously though, If you bought it new, then I assume its probably restricted, but dont expect more than a true 100mph when you get it derestricted.
It will probably indicate around 120mph derestricted, but will not be moving more than 100mph.
Also, once you are going faster than about 50mph, the speedo completely goes crazy and lies its ass off.

I agree with Binge, However, I am not going to rate his post, as I think red karma suits him better, more manly y'see.
On a serious note, I would've thought you would know if your bike is derestricted, i.e; does it go absolutely apeshit when it hits the powerband?
I would've thought fuel consumption would give you a vague idea aswell, and unless you change the sprockets, top speed will be the same.
Trust me, you'd know if it's derestricted. ( probably from the loud bang that follow .... )
