Bloody typical. The flat complex where I live was having some maintenance done that meant I had to leave my motorbike parked on a nearby street (in a designated motorbike parking space) for two nights with a mere four locks on it! Someone has either knocked into the bike with their car or kindly pushed it off the stand, smashing the left front indicator. At least someone had already picked it up by the time I found it. Of course, this couldn't have happened after it's been for it's MOT on Friday... If I turn up for the MOT with the indicator lens sellotaped on, presumably they will just laugh in my face? ____________________ Monster m600

I've done it many a time. Orange light coming out of it and securely fixed = pass. My GPZ500 had a flasher lens held on with gaffa tape for four years and always passed
Tried superglue? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

I've got some superglue, but because the screw and locating lug that's meant to hold the lens on has sheared off, if I glued it on there would be no getting to the bulb. That wouldn't be so bad, but on inspection today the bulb carrier was so corroded that it took some serious scraping to get enough contact. On current form, it would be just my luck that I would glue it up today and the bulb would blow on Thursday.... ____________________ Monster m600
