Reccomend a good recent MX game? I've yet to find a decent game that I like, they either have shite controls, or lacking in playability ... i.e. lack of tricks, no stunts and same old same old tracks etc..

I prefer freestyle stuff more than going round and round a track.. Freestyle Metal X is great, BUT way way too OTT and very cartooney, but the bike controls are great and it's very playable.. if it was more realistic and better graphics it'd be top Thumbs Up

So, reccomend a game??

Not really interested in that TT game, I don't fancy 30 min long races Thumbs Down and riding spirits is SHITE! I'm thinking about MX unleashed ATV vs Quad.. looks very playable but no idea.. anyone got it? if so what do you think?

MX2002 - Featuring Ricky Carmichael. Wicked game for both races and freestyle. By far the best MX game so far IMO. Thumbs Up

Plus its a few years old so you should be able to pick it up for cheapo on eBay.

MX unleashed and MTX mototrax are supposed to be pretty good. I have never tried them though.

I have MX2002, MX superfly and MX Unleashed on Xbox.

MX2002 is good, but not very realistic. I find it better for the racing than for the freestyle itself.

MX Superfly is just an updated copy of 2002, new tracks, few new tricks, slightly better graphics. Its OK, but again, not fantastic.

MX Unleashed is one of the best I'd say. Its made by the same people that done Motocross Madness on PC, very similar game only much updated. Better for the freestyle than racing, freestyle mode is just a huge mass of land, keeps things interesting. Thumbs Up

I havent played MTX Mototrax yet but have been tempted it for quite a while for online content more than anything. Just never got round to actually buying it.

Think thats about it.. Just make sure you avoid SX Superstar. That is just appalling. Laughing

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Erm, thats PC Marjay.

Motocross Mania 3 has recently come out, not sure how good this is either but it has hand to hand combat while you're racing. Not sure if its as good as Road Rash though.
