Probably been mentioned before, but some sort of temporay ban would seem to make sense.

Maybe any new user getting 5 spam ratings in their first five posts, or other users getting over say 15 (as some people seem to misuse the Spam rating).

As I briefly mentioned (then deleted), we all seem to be quite good at rating them as "spam" and not replying to them, but if we all change them to enemy in our profiles then they should be banned fairly quickly.

I suggest letting me ban people, only for the purpose of banning spammers of course. Razz
