Picture this, Im sitting in the passenger seat of my girlfriends car when she reverses and clips the back of my bike with her left hand wing mirror, with me staring in amazement at what had just happened. Her wing mirror went one way and my bike shuddered at the fact it had just been whacked.
At this point I didn't know what damage she had done due to the fact the bike had its cover on at the time.
I got out of the car (biting my tongue at this point I might add) and lifted the cover to see waht the stupid bitch had done (calm down)!!
When lifting the cover shards of red plastic started to rain down at my feet! My immediate thought was the the rear light cover, but alas it was only the stick on reflector.
After all this does anyone know where to get one online.

This is the kind of thing I'm after, but I need it 60x40mm!
I was gonna claim on my girlfriends insurance just to annoy her, but she has already made 2 claims in the space of week earlier this year at £300 excess each time. To top things off a delivery driver that came round our way and backed into her car and dented the drivers side wing. Just got out of the shower when it happened so couldn't chase after them or get the reg!! |

You were gonna claim for a broken relfector? If they didn't laugh at you and hang up, you'd only be responsible for the constant increase in premiums. I hate ppl who claim for a broken nail |

It's funny how over there ye can joke about claiming for minor things whereas in ireland we wouldn't dare make a claim as the money we get for the claim only ends up bein spent on the next years premium which has doubled |

If you're going to claim just to piss her off, then I'd suggest that your relationship must be very good if you expect it to continue very long like that surely? ____________________ I must not be a troll...

I was only joking about making the claim, that just wouldn't be very nice now would it. Although the part did cost more than expected! £10.55 + vat + £2.50 p&p. Apparently you can't just buy the reflector you have to get the whole unit which covers the light for the number plate.
More info on the van driver! We sent a letter out to the surrounding neighbours. Although no one else saw the accident we did receive the name of the company that made the delivery. My girlfriend rang them up earlier today and managed to speak to the boss. They exchanged insurance details over the phone even though the driver hadn't mentioned anything to him. As far as we know all is going smoothly, but there isn't an independant witness only me, so not sure how it will work out yet!
Oh and to set the record straight, it was a woman van driver! |

How do you know, if you were the only witness and yesterday you didn't know, yet the company doesn't know which van/driver it was. |

My friend (female) told me the other day she'd bumped her new car.
She said she was going through a gap and didnt realise it was too small, by the time she realised she just screwed her eyes shut and carried on - SCRAPE !!!!!!
Then kept going lol.
She said - oh I hate my new car, its too big and I cant judge gaps

Everyone has the ability to be a complete muppet behind the wheel at the end of the day. Some of the things I see my fellow woman driver do really can make me cringe, but then I get to shake my head at male stupidity too.....So it's not so bad!
Just remember, it's the person, not the gender that makes a good/bad driver! ____________________ My Precioussss!, My Bikes, The Lord & Master, Canis Lupus!
