I know this is going to sound weird but all respect to Zero for his purchase. He knew what he wanted and he went for it.
I'd love a quick go just to see the effectiveness of the fairing actually.

A sealed beam headlight has the reflector and lens made as one unit with the bulb filament sticking into the back of it. Rather than the conventional ones (from that era) where you remove the lens to get at the bulb. Most bikes have sealed beam lamps on them these days but older bikes like the CX would not.
Gives a more focused and efficient beam pattern ie. more light and pointing where you want it for the same wattage. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
