I am looking at getting into 125 racing and before I do I need to get the information about
Arrow the types of bikes available
Arrow the good and bad points of the different 125 machines
Arrow what is involved to set up and tune them
Arrow how often maintenance and rebuilds need to be done
Arrow the prices associated with 125 racing
Arrow and anything else anybody can help me learn
I am planning to buy one as soon as the ZX-6R is sold and I get a licence to race and am ready to start the practice sessions Very Happy
any info you all can help me with will be much appreciated, websites, facts figures and anything else cheers Thumbs Up

bah, they look small, but when you sit on one they seem alot bigger. Im 5"11 and 10.5 stones, my bike is completely standard and its relatively competitive as it is. Gonna get a few mods on it like ram air box and some gear box sprockets like low 1st, 2nd etc and thats all we should need this year. Your size shouldn't really come into it, even at MotoGP you see some quite big kids on 125's.

I am 5' 6" and weigh 76 kilograms I am on a diet to get down to 65Kg maybe lower depends on how fast I would be at 65Kg, so do these 125's have flat slide carbs? whats the mid level trickery like? do they have special clutches, quick shifters, radial master cylinders, or any other bits I should keep in mind when I am looking round?
