Ive never yet sold anything on Ebay, only brought things. TBH with such a new bike id try advertising it in MCN, and possibly Bike Trader first. Also its always worth putting it in your local weekly paper, as someone just round the corner might be looking for just that type of bike, and local sales are the easiest!

Just start with, JESUS CHRIST thats gorgeous Surprised

Anyway, you prob dont need me to tell you that so...

I have tried selling a bike on ebay, and can be a bit weird. People will not want to pay top whack (especially what that bike is worth) as they are expecting a bargain. Then theres the timewasters!! How many ads do you see with 'relisted due to timewasters'.

So I would put it on but with a high starting price and reserve if you were going down that alley. Why not put it into a few different publications AND ebay with a 'for sale elsewhere so reserev the right to remove the auction'.

You could also try parking in town, stay with the bike obviously, with a for sale sign on it! Or even some specialist sites?

Couldnt even guess what its worth though, good luck either way with the sale and your new buisness!!

Wink

i'd say get biketrader and have a gander at the same model to get some prices, then price it around that.

lovely bike btw, you can't have that AND the business? Crying or Very sad

Personally i think its only worth about £10 but as a friend i'll give you an extra fiver and pay £15 and a kebab of your choice :good: Laughing

On the advice side, i haven't sold a bike on the net, but i would use auto trader, but then it may get more views on ebay? Why not stick it on both and in MCN and local paper/bike mag?

Shocked

wow i was thinking a little less then that...IF you want to buy the front wheel! Wink

But seriously i think i am going to give e-bay a quick go and see if i might get a quick sell..but i will put a reserve price on the bike so someone does not get it to cheap!
Also i shall look at the MCN auction never heard of that before see what they might offer?

thanks for your comments..but due to not working and trying to get this business of the ground im afraid the bike has to go Sad
