Right today i went to hospital for a check up on my broken collar bone i was out about 2-3 hours, i came home went around back of my house and the tarpaulian i keep my bike covered with had all been removed from my bike, im very worried as i doubt the wind would have done it as the tarpaulian was fastened to the fence and there also is hardly any wind.
I checked around my bike it doesnt seem to have been moved or anything.
Do you think maybe some one has had a look to see what security i have on it? and may try take it late at night or am i been paranoid?
cheers
M

i would have thought someone would have put the cover back on

so as not to alert you to the fact they have had a look at the bike

i'd go with the wind blowing it off theory for now

but stay vigilant

That happened to me a couple of times on a suzuki tr50 i had. Not long after it got stolen. Make sure its locked up mate . Had a tdr125 nicked last week from a park. They dragged it up a hill with the locks still on . Lots of people around at the time and no one did anything . Whats the world coming to?

Personally, I'd put some extra security on it for a while, and make *sure* that the cover couldn't be taken off unless someone wanted to.

Not a nice feeling mate. Good luck in sleeping. Confused

Yeah I thought that too. Ground anchor will scare them off, and a nice chunky chain. Always makes them move on. I noticed that when my bike didnt have a chain on, it got nicked, then a second time I left it off, I came back to the place where I parked it and bike was on its side! An obvious attempt to steal it again.

Sit some jingly things and put the on the bike seat....if its moved, then they'll fall off and create some noise.

Or you could tie one end of a fishing line to the bikes frame and the other end to something that will create noise when it falls over. Anyhting really, of course the heavier the item, the higher tensile strength of fishing line you'll need. Razz

Tie the line to a shotgun so when its moved, it shoots the guy.
