I spoke to someone from the Ron Haslam Race School today and they said its £150 to ride a Honda CB600 Hornet. Starts at 9am till bout 12. Only problem is you get two 15 minute sessions on the track
Is it really worth doing for that sort of money?
It would take a dew laps to get used to the bike and track, by then your time would be up. |

I'm only on my CBT at the mo so its the only place I can go and get track time. The reason I'm thinking of doing it is cause me parents asked what I wanted for my 21st birthday.
(Though, getting into minimotos sounds like a laugh cheaper(ish), good step to start at, etc.)
Finding out its only 30mins of track time just sounds a bit shit, considering its going to take about 4hours to get there. |

It isn't about riding fast on a track... it's about *laerning* to ride fast... if it was riding all day you probably wouldn't learn nearly enough.
Personally I'd say ask tehm fro money to do your test |
