If you haven't, I would look at getting it setup properly.

Seen stubby cans mess up the air/fuel ratio quite badly before.

Forget which way it goes, but could get expensive if it's going lean and you don't sort it.

it rides exactly the same, but it will be going back on a dyno soon anyway, once i get the clutch sorted
