Does anyone know how I can set using htaccess so that people from certain IP's cannot visit without a password?

Probably won't do exactly what you want though... To tweak it see the apache docs.

get a cisco router or software that does access control lists....get some and ill show you how!

LOL, I'm not sure if his host would be too happy about that, and at the price of half the cisco routers he could probvably pay someone to manually monitor the logs and kick people Very Happy

Erm, thanks for the tip jimbo. If you have a spare one, then I will ask them if they are interested in installing it.

I know that if im having real problems they can block IP's completley but I just want to block a few IP from coming on without a password... like my college IP
