getting my stuff ready for the trackday at silverstone tommorow, have to take both parts of my driving licence! bugger is i can't find the paper copy of mine! (yet) Rolling Eyes
is this something that i can do with out or do i have to have it?

You don't usually need the paper bit (I always take it though, in case), and if you forget your entire licence they'll usually call the DVLA to check. Might charge you and you'll usually miss the first session while they do it.

I have never taken my paper licence to a trackday (mainly cos I can never find it Embarassed ) and have never had a problem.

TBH, I don't think I have ever seen them check anything other than your name!

tiss true i am a lanky fecker! and my bike is very green, will be with davo on a R6 and a mate of mine on a R1, will PM you my number and let me know what bikes you are on, will you be in novices?

Hi sorry i didnt get back to you. it was my dad who was on the track i was the lad who sat and took the pictures of him (Mug) He was in expert or advanced (not too sure) one out of 2 ZX12R's Laughing And he gravel rashed one side of it. Gutted

i saw a 12R with on side with the tell tale light brown side on it! didn't look too bad as he was riding it in the paddock area, hope the damage wasn't too bad and not expensive! was a great day to be on the track! Thumbs Up
