.... or whatever they are called, whats good to get? i heard R and G are good but are expensive. Can you get universal ones? I've seen some motrax ones, anyone had any experience with them?

R&G are good- i got them on mine- i havent had to use them yet though.

on a more serious note i guess you cant put a price on protective gear, be cheaper than trying to find new engine cases. i'll look into R & G

Again R & G are the best, they're the most expensive as they test them by crashing bikes, other companies just make bungs that might prevent some damage...

SES bungs, they are what alot of the racers use. If (When) you crash just unscrew the old plastic bit on the bung and get a new 1 for about £4 - 5.

R&G are not expensive really, it's just that some of the others are cheap. I've heard nothing good about the motrax ones, especially the crappy ones that attach to the outside of the fairing.
