does anybody here do sm track days? i have been looking at the lydd track as its only a hour or so away. im going to strip the road kit off my (aprilia) mx125 when the gsxf is on the road and wondered if anybody else is going to do a day?

I'm not too sure that Lydd are running track days at the minute due to pathetic noise complaints, that was the status last time I heard.. that they were just doing racing, no track days.. but check their website/call them I guess for an exact answer.

Otherwise nearest tracks are Swaffham, Wildtracks etc.

Not many Sad Hence why I put my KTM back on the road rather than track only!!

ahh shite. im trying to keep my fast riding off the road a bit as its becomeing less and less enjoyable with stupid drivers/riders trying to kill you and police hassle.

Lydden would be hell on a 125 motard.. not too keen on it myself even on a 525.. too fast and open, bit boring for motard IMO. And more expensive I think.. Confused

oh. wel this 125 is all ive got for the moment, before i move to a big motard. i might see if i can get a place in lydden.

any good tracks for a 125 then?

Didn't know we were talking 125moto.

If it's a 2 stroke, I don't see the problem, MZs race there fine and they've got about 25hp as standard - seen an Aprilia RS125 (road bike) holding it's own in the Fast group.

yyss, 125 moto. bought it after doing my license to do the steps. ive rideen a few 600's but i always come back to it. love it, when it doesnt brake stupid things.
