I rode one on track. I went past plenty of litre bikes as I was in a lower class than I should have been in. However that doesn't make the bike fast - I would have been faster on an r6 I reckon.

The suspension is set up quite soft if you are wanting to thrash it on the track but adjusting the suspension is no problem. Considering that Triumph released it as a "real world" sports bike I think it does bloody well for what it is.

But on the road it's really good it has a great handling, soaks up all the bumps'n'shit that you get on the road and gives excelent feedback. The only thing that I have a problem with is the brakes they are a bit spongy after a while. I've already changed the fluid twice now after 8000 miles Confused

The one I rode had suspension set up for track. The suspension coped with what the engine put out fine, but it was the engine that was disapointing for me.

Oh and 'erk' at that car starting to pull out in the second clip Neutral.

Yeah the engine as a bad flat spot at about 5K and it stops pulling after 13500RPM. The flat spot on my bike was sorted with a noisy can and a K&N air filter Thumbs Up Still to get it remapped though.

I seen that car when I was coming round the corner and judged that if I speed up then I'll get by. If I had braked then I would have went into the side of him. I just assume that every car driver cant see me and is out to hit me Rolling Eyes

Wasn't so much a flat spot, as a rather linear power delivery.

While this is good in some cases, I prefer some of the sportier engines that take off when they get to 10k, with no less power low down Smile.

I think it takes off about 8K Very Happy If im whoring it one day on a ride I tend to try and stay above 8-9K when im riding because thats where I feel all the power is Very Happy and you cant beat the feeling of screaming the tits off an in-line 4cyl Twisted Evil

I'm really tempted to get that new triumph 675 triple when it comes out. Dont really want to go away from Trumpets *sing national anthem with hand on heart* Laughing Well a ZX10-R is tempting Twisted Evil

115 is the most I saw on the video it was quite hard too see because of the light. Mind you maybe it's a good thing not to show the speedo in videos Wink

The speedo only matters if you get pulled over with the camera on the tank. They can't prove that it is you otherwise.
