Finally got 'er rebuilt complete with new alarm module and gort out for 1/2 hour on sunday afternoon.... feels good to twist that tube again.

Question tho'

... does anyone have a cure for leathers shrinking over the winter, mine always seem to fit ok when I hang them up in November time but are way too tight about this time of year..???

Maybe its all that food you ate over xmas,
You might have filled out a little...

Just a thought...

(maybe some dubbing stuff to make the leathers more suple..?)

Yeah, the Waxy dubbing stuff works well for that, it should let them stretch out a bit again

Damn and blast you to hell with pointy spikes all the way Mr Lucky. You have seen through my painfully transparent ploy to win sympathy for my apparently shrinking leathers when 'tis in fact my copius consumption of lard and beef juice ale which is my problem.

Give me the details of Elvington now you shame faced ninny. Shocked

With regard to the 9, I relayed all the symptoms to the alarm specialist who cogitated for a moment then replied with all seriousness...

..."that's fucked that is .. you need a new alarm ... oh yeah, I've got one on the van, only £175 notes to you guv'nor..!!"

so off we go

I'm considering changing it for a new GSXR750, only £6 grand for last years model at Riossi, but I hant dared mention it to Mrs C yet...... hahahah she'll have my bollocks in a vice drawer before you can say "excuse me vicar I think you wife has fallen in my manhole"

I humbly apologise for taking the piss.

My leathers haven't shrunk, Lucky is right I am a fat bastard Embarassed

My leathers are made from sacred cows who were raised on beer mash to make the highest quality and most supple leather possible, specifically for bike leathers.

Seriously, check out www.kushitani.com

They haven't shrunk, it's me boo hoo Crying or Very sad

Don't worry Bu is still with us and will be for a very long time I fear.

Otka, on the other hand, has been sold and replaced with a diesel Laurin & Klement Octavia. Very nice it is too.

It does a sterling job of slowing me down... Laughing
