Jimbo you won't be laughed at. Infact you will get lots of kudos because you are going up the strip. I have even seen a minimoto go up the strip and plenty of scotters do it too. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamned about. You are a biker just like the rest of us and as such you have just as much right to stick your bike up the strip if you are prepared to pay the money. And anyway, since when did any of us give a flying fuck what anyone else thought about us or our bikes.

Only someone who hasn't got the guts to run or isn't a true biker would laugh at a biker running up the strip. It's a run what you brung. You brung it so you run it mate.

Do it, you will love it and fuck them all to Hell in a handbasket mate.

It takes guts to run up the strip and I have respect for anyone who does so.

I can guarantee anyone who laughes at you won't be running themselves...

The turbo'd 12R is, unfortunately off limits. It will be a day of testing for the 12R as it has greater things ahead of it this year.

In fact I hope as many make it as possible. To finally get that slip of paper with your top speed on it is a great thing to have (especially when it is a few mph faster than your mates!).
