Lol, yeh right. 2nd at 30 to learn with... Wont even hop.
Stick it in first, set off up to about 30 ish with slow acceleration, get to about peak torque, roll off the throttle slightly then snap it back on. Believe me the first time it will barely lift on a 500. If u were learning on an R1 id suggest more caution.
The CBR barely lifts in 2nd. The VFR barely lifts in 2nd.
Powerwheelies are mroe beginner friendly but can go wrong.
Clutch is by far the best, but again can go wrong.
End of the day, practice away from any peer pressure. My first wheelies were pathetic. But cos i was on my own i didnt know. But i started to get comfy on the back wheel before it got over a foot high
Getting comfy with the front in the air is the main point. Not the height or distance. ____________________ China traffic/travel bike vid - When I make a sweeping statement, please add the word 'statistically' in to the sentence before you bitch...

New bikes like to wheelie easy. My zx6r did quite happily 2nd gear powerwheelies.
I would sugguest 33bhp clutch as thats all you can do. Full power power wheelie although im not sure your bike will like to do that. Its the easiest way to get used to the nose in the air.
Best bet is to speak to G Korn or Sparks as they are the forum wheelie gods. |

Same for any bike, power it if you can as its alot easier for a n00bie to control, get comfortable with the wheel in the air and then come back.
Main thing is to have balls, if you think its gonna flip then it most likely isn't. I don't know many people that have crashed a wheelie but then again i don't know many people that can do it.
My dad can do pretty good power wheelies on his zzr and hes 41 so anything is possible. |

They are the same to wheely off clutch, no difference what so ever.
I don't think the power would be all that different either.
Although I'm talking more about sports 6/1000 etc here.
If anything a 33bhp restriction would mean less power which would make clutching a bit smoother. ____________________ Current Toys: 06 Yamaha WR250F | Nissan 350Z GT | Tech 4 Homes |

They wheelie nicely restricted, only problem is you have to change from first to second very very quickly. |
