Sorry not bike related, but my brothers workshop was broken into last night. They took an engine we'd just had delivered a few days before from the engine dyno.

No tools or anything else was taken (from what we can see). So it seems the scum had specifically broken in to get the engine!!!!

Please keep an eye out for the following complete engine in your travels, items that stand out on it are listed below.

Vauxhall XE16v
SEARLE (tuner) written on rocker cover
Rocker cover is powder coated in OFF-WHITE (cream colour)
Metallic blue engine block
Lightened Flywheel
Helix Paddle Clutch
Twin 45 Webers with short trumpets
No Manifold
Purple QED Adjustable Vernier Pulleys
Courtney Ally Bottom Pulley

Sorry to hear that,

however, the fact it was recently delivered does make it sound a bit dodge! were the deliverers/dyno people reliable and used before or not?

Sorry, when I say delivered I meant we actually collected the unit and brought it back to the workshop.

Yes we have used the dyno people before, no problems.

Yeah it was a nifty motor, made 209bhp (restricted) on the dyno, as it needed to be bed in for a bit before being 'let loose'. About £4-5K was invested in it, had arrow 'H' rods, forged pistons etc. Sad
