even after reading the workshop manual, i have no idea how to remove the sparkplugs!

i have the pannels, and radiator off, and the connectors to the coils are off, but i cant get the coils/plugs out of the engin!

do i need to remove the tank to get at the plugs?

Yes, you need to remove the tank and and get a long socket to reach the plugs that are down the 4 holes Thumbs Up

It could well be, take them out make sure they are all in good condition nice browny colour and are all firing, but with the cold weather a few of my bikes need a bit of throttle as well as the choke to get them started up, they do require a bit of time warming up in this weather. As long as when its warmed up it works fine I wouldnt worry too much about it Thumbs Up, Dan

Most people think that as long as the engine is warm then it should be alright but it really needs to be quite hot in this weather as you are still drawing in the cold air into the engine, therefore making it hard to start.
