even after reading the workshop manual, i have no idea how to remove the sparkplugs!
i have the pannels, and radiator off, and the connectors to the coils are off, but i cant get the coils/plugs out of the engin!
do i need to remove the tank to get at the plugs? ____________________ My Bikes - - - Royal Enfield 500 with sidecar, VFR800, CBR600FX,

Yes, you need to remove the tank and and get a long socket to reach the plugs that are down the 4 holes ____________________ Don't ride it, RAG IT!! |

It could well be, take them out make sure they are all in good condition nice browny colour and are all firing, but with the cold weather a few of my bikes need a bit of throttle as well as the choke to get them started up, they do require a bit of time warming up in this weather. As long as when its warmed up it works fine I wouldnt worry too much about it , Dan ____________________ Don't ride it, RAG IT!! |
