when my ped is hot after i have driven up a hill at slow speeds and high revs the engine stops when it's idling.
what is the cause of this?
is it the carb heater?
this is sometimes annoying if i have to go off the ped in order to get up a very steep hill and it stops. then i have to hold the brake use full speed select neutral and start it again.
or is it a seizure?

it's got a choke on the handlebars, but you must hold it in to use it.

check the choke cable going into the carb, i was washing my bike underneath the fairings and i must have lifted the choke cable and it started but then cut out when i stopped giving it revs, id check that first just make sure the cables are all in the wholes properly Thumbs Up

it runs when it's cold and when it has cooled down while i drive..
it's just like it looses power, when idling, it don't calm down slowly to idle.

Sounds like its too rich to me, the float needle in the carb could be stuck or wrongly set up, has it always done this?

-> Do you need to use the choke to start it?

Either:

-> Turn up the idle speed screw so it idles faster
-> Find out the idle mixture screw standard setting (find a manual), or turn it one way or the other so it does idle when hot.

You don't drive a bike. You ride a bike.

Will the bike tick over at any other times?

It could be a problem with enough fuel getting into the float bowls, going up a hill at high revs is using up all the fuel. Althoug that's very unlikely.
