Brakes sticking ? please help me thanks

Hi on my front and back brakes when i spin the front wheel it seems to make a scraa noise if you can imagine and cant even get one spin from spinning the wheel really hard, could it be that one sie of the breaks has seized and is not movin the pads back or anything else please help, my back brake also does the same

The pistons are probably a bit sticky. You'll have to take the calliper off, pull the pistons out and give them a good clean. There was a post a couple of months back detailing how to do it. Have a search for "calliper rebuild" or something to that effect...

Edit - but feef is probably right lol, come to think of it, my wheels don't spin all that much. If i spin my rear bacwards, i even get a clicking noise...

there often is a little drag on the disks.. I'd not worry too much about it, I dont think they ever run totally free

i took off my calibra and its all black gunk and the pads are closed to far to actually get it back onto the disc i had to prive it off the disc to get it off Neutral

this cant be right can it ?

sorry i ment the pads are pushing shut when i removed it from the disc. I had to really pull to get it off the disc they are actually closed too far when the brakes rnt on, enough to stop the wheel.

Yep, as has been said. Sounds like it needs a strip and a clean. Korn did an illustrated how-to on it a while back. You should find a link to it in the workshop section under "BCF Workshop Guides & Handy Links".

needed to put more brake fluid in but oh no the dickhead before me has stripped the screws on the resv for the fluid and i dont think ill be able to get the screws out.
